Ultraviolett (UV) Disifiction
The application of UV to disinfection has been an accepted practice since the mid-20th century. It has been used primarily in medical sanitation and sterile work facilities. Increasingly it has been employed to sterilize drinking and wastewater.
UV light is e ective against contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, mould spores, algae and other micro-organisms as it prevents growth and reproduction. If left untreated, these organisms remain in the water and produce a bio- lm coating throughout the water system which harbours more bacteria and makes the water less safe to use or drink.
The SPECTRUM SABRE range of Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems have been designed to offer high dosage of UV light that destroys the DNA of micro-organisms in water. This prevents the microorganisms from growing and reproducing.
For higher flow rate commercial and industrial applications, the SPECTRUM SABRE range includes high capacity units as standard.
Systems for 12/24 VDC & 230 VAC
